Walk4Ollie returns for 2025, and this year is our biggest walk yet. Starting in Letterkenny, Co. Donegal, we'll walk over 210km to our home town of Enfield. This year, our target is to raise €15,000 for Muscular Dystrophy Ireland's "Ollie Hickey Fund", which will bring the funds raised to date to over €100,000

These breaks provide a chance to enjoy a short getaway in Dublin or Galway, particularly for members who may face financial or accessibility barriers to travel.

We have season tickets for five FAI matches at the Aviva Stadium, offering an incredible matchday experience in the accessible seating area, centre-pitch location. For each game, we’ll have an application process aimed at different groups, such as young adults, groups of friends

Applications for Q4 2024 are now open! 💡 MDI members living with neuromuscular conditions can apply for up to €2,500 in funding. This bursary is designed to support both children and adults in pursuing opportunities that enhance independence and inclusion in society.
Walk4Ollie 2024 is live!
This year the Walk4 Ollie event takes place from 16th – 20th July, and the route follows the amazing Waterford Greenway from Dungarvan, through Waterford City, Graiguenamanagh, Carlow Town, Monasterevin and finishing up in their hometown of Enfield. Paddy & Claire Hickey will be joined by friends, family and MDI members along the 200km route
