The WAM Programme: 23 Job Opportunities with Local Authorities - Closing February 11th 2026

The WAM Programme are partnering with a number of Local Authorities (County Councils & Regional Assembly) nationally to offer paid, mentored, work placements exclusively for graduates with disabilities commencing from May 2026. There are 23 positions available with a range of Local Authorities with various contract durations. Candidates are limited to applying for a maximum of 3 vacancies.

Educational Requirements: Candidates interested in applying for these roles, must on the time of applying, hold a relevant NFQ Level 6 qualification and above. Some roles may find specific qualifications and/or experience desirable, candidates should read the job spec for the role they are interested in, to learn more.

Salary Information: €36,783.19 - single point salary scale
Closing Date Extended: 12pm, Wednesday 11th February 2026.
Anticipated Start Date: May 2026.
