Passion, Pride & Champions: Team MDI Honoured to Witness the AIPF League Final

Some of Team MDI were lucky enough to be invited, by the AIPF board, to the decider of the league in Gormanstown park on Saturday 7th of March 2026.

The day was filled with anticipation and excited nerves. It came down to the final 2 games with a trophy up for grabs. Huge congratulations to the winners 'Heros Cork' (last Photo) and 'Midlands United' who were runners up on the day.

Fantastic well done to all the players, coaches' referees, volunteers and families who made the day as special as it was. 

Also, special congratulations go to Naglis Montvilas who won senior player of the season and Mathew Crowley who won young player of the season. Both these players were independently voted by their fellow teammates & clubs. Fantastic recognition for both players on their hard work and dedication to their chosen sport.
