Opportunity for young people aged 14 to 17 - Join UNICEF Ireland Youth Action Group!
UNICEF Ireland is launching a Youth Action Group, bringing together a small group of young people from across the country to share ideas, learn about youth activism and children’s rights, as well as helping to shape their advocacy work for young people and contributing to conversations and campaigns on issues affecting young people today.
This group will run as a 6-8-month pilot, with in-person meetings taking place every couple of months at the UNICEF Ireland office (travel costs covered), alongside some online connection and collaboration in between.
UNICEF Ireland are particularly keen to ensure that the group reflects the experiences and perspectives of young people from a wide range of backgrounds and communities across Ireland and they very much welcome applications from young people who may not always have access to opportunities like this.
Young people can apply by clicking the ‘apply here’ button via their flyer (attached above), or through this link: UNICEF Ireland Youth Action Group -Application Form – Fill in form
Applications are open now and will close on April 5th. Young people are welcome to submit their responses either in writing or through a short video application. Please note that parent/ guardian consent will be required for anyone who wishes to apply.
