Darts Fundraiser and Half Marathon Raise Over €4,900 for MDI with World-Class Darts Stars
Here at MDI, we are so lucky to be the beneficiaries of an annual darts fundraiser that takes place every year. We have a group who go all out every year to bring world-class players from the darts world to Ireland and this year was the turn of Simon Whitlock (who gave his jersey to the lovely Shannon at the end of the night), and Gary Anderson! This year’s events raised €1,884.90 to support our work – and great nights were had by all! Huge thanks to John, Stephanie, Stephen, Connall, Eugo and Dave for your continued support.
This year the event also inspired Conall McCrea & Stephen McReamainn to to the extra mile and take part in a half marathon, which raised an additional €3,045 which is just absolutely incredible – a huge thanks to all who supported!
Also, a big shout out to Kalen O’Neill of Big Noisy 99’s who made Shannon’s day by showing up to the house the next day to deliver her an ice cream and Tommy Masterson and family who have shown the event huge support in the last two years.
