MDI School Awareness Programme

Having an understanding of Muscular Dystrophy and related neuromuscular conditions within the school setting is vital for creating a supportive and inclusive experience for young pupils and to ensure they are fully included in all aspects of school life.

Please find a link below which includes two recent MDI schools' awareness online webinars and accompanying slides which might be helpful to both you and the staff of your child's school. Both webinars are aimed at teachers and SNA's to create awareness of the condition and to enable them to support young students through their school journey

  1. Supporting Secondary Students with muscular dystrophy and related neuromuscular conditions.

  2. Supporting Primary School students with muscular dystrophy and related neuromuscular conditions
