Lights, Camera, Action - Vlog Your Irish Adventure- It’s On Us!

Are you ready to be the star of your own adventure? At Muscular Dystrophy Ireland we're on a mission to spotlight accessible locations, attractions, and thrilling experiences across Ireland, and we need your help to make it happen. Whether you're exploring solo, with a friend, a partner, or with the family, we invite you to be a part of this exciting initiative.

Here's how you can join the adventure:

1. Plan your adventure: Think about where you'd like to go and what you'd like to experience across Ireland.

2. Get in Touch: Once you’ve decided on a particular attraction, let us know. We'll handle purchasing the tickets and check with the attraction if filming is permitted for MDI members.

3. Film Your Experience: Once everything is set, film your adventure! Make sure to capture all the highlights and accessibility features.

4. Send Us Your Footage: Once you've completed your adventure, send us the footage. You can choose to have us take care of the editing process, or if you prefer, you can edit the footage yourself before sending it to us. We're flexible and want to make sure you're comfortable with the process every step of the way.

Our panel of judges will be on the lookout for the most captivating, creative, and compelling vlogs. Whether it's your storytelling prowess, stunning visuals, or infectious enthusiasm, we want to see it shine. The top vlogger will walk away with the Alexa Echo Show to enhance their future adventures!

This initiative will be running from now throughout the summer season, welcoming submissions until August 31st.

We've got a few guidelines:

· To express an interest in participating in our initiative contact Tania Quill at tania@mdi.ie.

· Your video should be short and sweet, between 1 to 2 minutes.

· Admission costs/tickets cannot exceed €150.

· Please only comment on the positives of a location or experience

· If a location or experience has already been visited by one of our members, we won't be sending someone to the same one. However, we'll gladly offer tickets to a different location or experience.

· You must be the star in your own show, it's your adventure, after all, so we want to see and hear directly from you.

· Your video may be featured on our website.

Please note that due to limited availability, not everyone who applies will be selected to participate. However, we encourage all interested individuals to apply, and we'll do our best to accommodate as many participants as possible.
