Barretstown and MDI, Youth Camp 2024
MDI are delighted to announce an exciting new partnership with Barretstown Children’s Charity to run this years MDI Youth Camp. To celebrate we are working hard to organise a wonderful weekend away from 24th - 26th of May for some of our young members aged between 1 - 17 years old with their immediate families or carers. It is a whole family experience weekend away. Activities are fully accessible and range from a variety of age appropriate activities from kayaking, arts and crafts, music, film making, horse riding, climbing walls and much more.

About Barretstown
Barretstown offers free, specially designed camps and programmes for children and their families living with a serious illness and/or disability – supported behind the scenes by 24 hour on site medical and nursing care.
All of the children and families come to Barretstown free of charge. Everything, including accommodation, food and medical assistance are provided at no cost to the family Barretstown is supported by donations and the fundraising efforts of corporate supporters, individuals and community groups. Barretstown is recognised as a centre of excellence in childhood cancer care, other serious illnesses and disabilities. Children are referred to Barretstown based on their medical needs and disabilities. Since they first opened our gates in 1994 they have brought the magic of Barretstown to over 100,000 campers.
