MDI Community Supports Webinar (Full): January 2024

This webinar aims to inform people living with neuromuscular conditions about where you can find support, resources, and information to enhance your quality of life and live well to the full of your potential. Organisations that focus on many aspects of life, such as Independent Living, employment, education and housing, presented information on the services they provide. Some of the presenters are themselves living with a disability.

    The webinar also launched our case-study document offering information and guidance to members on various aspects of day-to-day living, using scenarios drawn from the experiences of people with neuromuscular conditions. Topics include entitlements, insurance, education, driving, housing grants and family planning. The document is available here for download.
