MDI Ollie Hickey Fund is Now Open for Applications
We’re pleased to announce that the Ollie Hickey Fund is now open for applications and will remain open until 31st May 2026. The Ollie Hickey Fund is an important part of MDI’s commitment to supporting members living with neuromuscular conditions to access opportunities that promote independence, participation, and inclusion.

MDI is pleased to invite expressions of interest for the 2025/2026 HRCI‑HRB Joint Funding Scheme.
The MDI-Dr John Roche Education Bursary, totalling €2,000 annually is now open for applications.
We are excited to announce that the Muscular Dystrophy Ireland-Dr John Roche Education Bursary, totalling €2,000 annually, is now open for applications. MDI hopes to support two of our members with €1,000 each towards their education costs this Autumn. The deadline for applications is Friday 15th August 2025.

The MDI- Assistive Technology Fund
This is open to members in CHO 5 - Waterford, Wexford, Carlow, Kilkenny, South Tipperary as it is a lottery fund. Closing date 14th of December. Muscular Dystrophy Ireland (MDI) is keen to support members living with neuromuscular conditions to get Assistive Technology to enhance their independence and quality of life. In order to do this, we are offering financial support through the Assistive Technology Fund.
