This webinar aims to inform people living with neuromuscular conditions about where you can find support, resources, and information to enhance your quality of life and live well to the full of your potential.
External organisations that focus on many aspects of life, such as Independent Living, employment, education and housing, will present information on the services they provide. Several of the presenters are themselves living with a neuromuscular condition. This will allow participants to learn how others with a similar condition have sought career opportunities, and to share experiences and form connections.
We will also launch a case-study document offering information and guidance to members on various aspects of day-to-day living, using scenarios drawn from the experiences of people with neuromuscular conditions. Topics include entitlements, insurance, education, driving, housing grants and family planning.
