Dr John Roche Education Bursary
Muscular Dystrophy Ireland (MDI) is keen to support students living with neuromuscular conditions to attend further and higher education by offering financial support through the Dr John Roche Educational Bursary. MDI – Ireland’s national organisation providing support to people with neuromuscular conditions – recognises that appropriate financial supports are essential for people with neuromuscular conditions to develop their education. We have therefore launched an annual bursary which aims to support the educational costs of students with neuromuscular conditions attending further and higher education.

This includes support with recruitment to studies, disseminating research findings, collaborating with academic institutions and pharmaceutical industries, and using research to advocate for improved services and supports for people living with neuromuscular conditions in Ireland.
