Transitioning to adulthood
July 18th, 2023
Are you over 18 years of age, living with a neuromuscular condition and interested in sharing your experiences and challenges of transitioning to adulthood such as leaving secondary school, getting a job, going to post-secondary education, meeting young people socially etc? If yes, we want to hear from you!
Moving into adulthood can be a hard time for young people especially when living with a disability and researchers in Trinity College Dublin want to find out what people’s experiences were, what challenges they faced and what might have made this time easier. The goal is to learn from past experiences and create resources for young people who will transition in the future.
