MDI Advocacy Committee holds its first meeting
July 28th, 2023
We are really pleased to let you know that the MDI Advocacy Committee held its first meeting on 28 June. The committee is made up of people with lived experience of neuromuscular conditions – people living with the conditions and family members – who will advocate for positive change in society on areas that affect the lives of people living with neuromuscular conditions and to inform the development of MDI’s services. With the support of the MDI team, the Advocacy Committee will enable and empower members to work together strategically to identify barriers and potential solutions to the participation and inclusion of people living with neuromuscular conditions in society. The committee is looking forward to meeting again in September. If you’d like to find out more about the committee, please contact Tania Quill by email on tania@mdi.ie.
