MDI are constantly relying on various grants, voluntary donations and fundraising activities each year to help bridge the shortfall in funding between essential services and the emergency, practical and social services which we provide. The support of our members, friends and the general public plays a key role in this regard through the ongoing donations received and fundraising events which are organised each year. This support enables MDI to maintain the high level of services we provide to members and we wish to acknowledge our sincere appreciation and thanks to all concerned for your ongoing support.  MDI will always advocate to improve (or at least retain) services at current levels. However, given the current financial cutbacks which we are all experiencing at present, it is important that MDI explore every option to raise funds. One “online shop”is yet another fundraising initiative which we hope will help to raise much needed funds.
