MDI is involved in three national fundraising campaigns each year which members can participate in, (namely: the National Awareness Day Campaign on St Valentine's Day; the Dublin Women's Mini Marathon and the sale of MDI Christmas Cards).  All proceeds from these campaigns are used by MDI to run the youth and respite programmes, such as the summer camps.

Members also have the opportunity to fundraise in their local areas, outside the above three events. You may wish to raise money for a specific piece of equipment for a local person, or a Branch might fundraise to fund a social trip for local members. MDI’s PR / Fundraising Co-ordinator can support these local events.
