Ladies Still Wanted!
The Flora Women's Mini Marathon is the biggest all women's event of its kind in the world. It has grown steadily in numbers since it began in 1983 with its popularity increasing significantly over the last few years.
Over the years, many charities have benefited from this event, including MDI who have had runners participating in this event for many years now. It is one of MDI’s major fundraising events which raised over €12,000 for us last year.
Given the current financial climate in which we are all experiencing, MDI are now even more dependent on such fundraising events to maintain the current level of services we provide for our members.
We are therefore looking for ladies to participate in this years event and help to raise much needed funds for MDI. As always, MDI will provide T-shirts and sponsorship cards to all participants prior to the event
After the event, all participants who raise sponsorship for MDI are also invited back to Cafe en Seine on Dawson Street for refreshments.
The closing date for receipt of applications is now closed and therefore if you have not already registered for this event you can not participate.
However, if you have already registered and have not yet chosen a charity to support, why not join the MDI Mini Marathon Team and support Muscular Dystrophy Ireland.
We would really appreciate your support.
