Family Support Worker [Part time]
This is a part-time position, 20 hours per week. The chosen candidate will provide support to families in the Mid-Western Health Service Executive Area, Limerick and Clare. Candidates should be excellent communicators with a good understanding of health and social services and the needs of people with disabilities. Experience of advocacy work, providing personal support and a full clean driving licence are esesential.
Full-time Respite Services and
This is a full-time position based in Chapelizod, Dublin 20. MDI operates a number of respite services, including Personal Assistants to members, a Respite Holiday programme/summer camps.
This full-time role is centred around the general office administration associated with the management of the Personal Assistant Programme, Respite Holiday Programme, performance monitoring and reporting, policy development and grant applications.
National Head of Services [Full Time]
This is a new position within the organisation, and the successful candidate will be a key member of the management team. They will develop a new strategy for the organisations Services, in line with the overall strategic plan of the organisation, as well as developing a fully structured and outlined operational plan of action with timeframes, resource requirements, priorities and responsibilities, indicating fully how the nationwide services will be delivered as set out and defined in the Strategic Plan.
Personal Assistant (Careworker)
This role is centred around the Personal Assistant Programme, Successful applicants will be required to work closely with people with muscular dystrophy, provide personal assistance and support where needed and work as part of a team to provide the best possible service to our members.
