Ireland Bike Fest - Killarney
Since 2006, The Gleneagle Hotel in Killarney, Co Kerry and Harley Davidson Ireland have been supporting Muscular Dystrophy Ireland with our Awareness and Fundraising activities. This fundraising initiative has gone from strength to strength each year and has raised over €100,000 for MDI since its conception. The 2012 rally of the now well established "Ireland Bike Fest" took place from 1st - 3rd June and raised a further €12,000 for MDI.
MDI would like to thank the Staff and Management of the Gleneagle Hotel in Killarney for once again organising, hosting and sponsoring this event. Thanks to everyone who sold and bought tickets and helped to make this event a great success.

As in previous years at the Ireland BikeFest in Killarney, The Gleneagle Hotel and Harley Davidson Ireland once again organised for a Harley Davidson Bike to be raffled at this event, with all proceeds going to Muscular Dystrophy Ireland. The draw took place on Sunday 3rd June 2012 at 7.30pm and the results were:
1st Prize: Harley Davidson Motorbike
Winner: Three year old Alicia Finnegan (left) from Balbriggan, Co Dublin pictured above with her father Larry, Molly Murphy (aged 5) from Dublin, who pulled the winning ticket and Breffini Ingerton, Chairperson of the Ireland Bikefest. 2nd Prize: Two night stay for two at the Brehon Hotel, Killarney
Winner: Mike Bernie from Killarney, Co Kerry.
3rd Prize: Harley Davidson Leather Jacket
Winner: Eamon Timony from Rosscarbery, West Cork.
