Since 2006, The Gleneagle Hotel in Killarney, Co Kerry and Harley Davidson Ireland have been supporting Muscular Dystrophy Ireland with our Awareness and Fundraising activities. This fundraising initiative has gone from strength to strength each year and has raised over €140,000 for MDI since its conception. The 2018 rally of the now well established "Ireland Bike Fest" took place from 1st to the 3rd June 2018 and was a roaring success! The total raised will be published in the coming days.
We would like to thank the Staff and Management of the Gleneagle Hotel in Killarney for once again organising and hosting this event. We at MDI are delighted to have been charity partners at this fabulous festival since the first BikeFest in 2006 and long may this association continue. Thanks also to everyone who sold and bought tickets and helped to make this fundraising initiative for MDI a great success. Your support is very much appreciated.
As in previous years at the Ireland BikeFest in Killarney, The Gleneagle Hotel and Harley Davidson Ireland arranged for a Harley Davidson Bike to be raffled at this event, with all proceeds going to Muscular Dystrophy Ireland. The draw took place on Sunday 3rd June 2018 at 6.30pm and the lucky winner was R Mizenko (Rusty) from Killarney (pictured above). 2nd prize went to Mileaj Cuden from Rathmore, Co Kerry and the 3rd prize was won by Rory Fay from Miltown Malbay, Co Clare.
Congratulations to all the winners and a big thank you to everyone who bought tickets for our raffle this year and for supporting the work of Muscular Dystrophy Ireland (MDI). Thanks also to everyone who prurchased our MDA Harley Davidson pins and/or who made donations to MDI. Your support helped make this years event a great success! So, thanks again for your on-going support and contributions, which as always is very much appreciated.
